1991 Alfa Romeo 164L 120,118 miles, 2.5l v-6, 5 speed manual trans with short shift & mahogany knob. Paint was 1 year old when stored 4 years ago = 5 years but only exposed to elements 1 year but garaged the whole time. Paint was performed by professional for $3,000. New Michelin Pilots with 1500 miles on them. Clutch replaced a@ 118,000 miles. Starter replaced a@ 95,000. Transmission input shaft bearing replaced @ 85,000. Radiator replaced @90,000. Stepper motors replaced with brass gearing from Australia with new drum and system overhaul by ALGAR @ 115,000. Timing belt, H2O pump & tensioner replaced at 118,000. Magnecor 8.0mm ignition wires cap & rotor at 112,000. Steering rack boots replaced @112,000. New climate control panel replaced in 1999. O2 sensor replaced 1999. Custom Euro wheel center caps. Custom mahogany shift know with AR inlay. What this car needs: The car currently does not run. I believe has a bent exhaust valve on #5. Timing belt cam pulley bolt sheared while running at idle. Engine is partially disassembled (everything except for the rear cylinder head). The sunroof needs to have the new parts installed for it to work (who cares, it makes too much noise at 120mph). I have the parts. Vehicle has a salvage title. It was stolen prior to my purchasing it. The vandals pried out the sunroof and pierced all the leather seats and part of the dash (covered by custom made mahogany panel) with a screwdriver( they were that awful orangey tan color, yuck). They also stole the HVAC control panel and the computer. The seats were replaced with all new black seats from a low mileage donor AR, thus the 2 tone color scheme you see in the photos. The guys at ALGAR thought I should send a photo to Alfa and show them how it should have been done in the first place. Anyway, the car was totaled since the cost of replacing the damaged & missing items exceeded the current NADA in 1998. I have put a lot of time and tons of money into this car. I don't know why. It's a hoot to drive I can assure you. I can't remember everything I have or had done to this car. I have the manual on disc and some miscellaneous parts laying around. Oh, the stereo was replaced with an Infinity 1.5 D.I.N. unit same as old but better.....with a 12 disc cd player in trunk. ’62 Giulietta Spider - I have been so busy and my car just sits in the garage except for an occasional short drive.  It deserves better. New brakes, exhaust, filters, radiator,  seats put in from re-originals, new door skins and hardware. A new top that just needs a wood bow in place.  dual webers, 5 spd, red with red and black interior. New tires, hubcaps, and front grill.  The trunk near the battery has had new metal put in. The gas gauge does not work and neither does the speedo.  The front bumpers and eyebrows need replating.  I am asking $8,500.00.  This was the price I paid before all of the work was done to it which was not cheap.  New seats alone were $2500.00.
